    I need your help guy’s
I have downloaded the template and the quick start version.
On my site http://www.aegies.com I have installed the version without the sample database. I can’t work out the positions of the modules and the class suffix for the modules. The configuration details are really poor.
    1) what are the module position setting and class suffix definitions.

I have used many joomlart templates and this is the most difficult to work out.

I have also installed the sample database on a localhost machine – when installed the admin password is overwritten when the sample data is loaded and I have to hack into the database to try to reset the admin password.
    1) What is the password for the admin account you have set?
    2) When I have managed to get into the admin panel the preview function doesn’t work. If I try to use the direct url localhost/test/index.php it doesn’t display anything?

I need some urgent help please.

    Regards
    Keith

    Dear Keith!

The best way is here, pls kindly install the quickstart and pls use the data sample, you ‘ll have a site same as our demo, and you ‘ll make your changes on this.

    Thank you for your reply.
I have alrteady installed the quickstart version and sample data – as I said in my original post.

I have installed in localhost on my computer.
    There are many problems:
    1) The Admin account is not available after install of sample data – it is over written by the sample database with a new administrator password.

    2) The installed quickstart and sample data does not work after install. I have installed it into a local directory called test so from local host it is: localhost/test/ When I try to access the installed site there is nothing. There are two .php pages in teh root of /test, index.php and index2.php. If I force the webserver to localhost/test/index.php I get nothing displayed if I force it to localhost/test/index2.php I get some of the sample data.

There are problems with this template and sample database. Please look into the problem, and let us know what is the admin password, and why the index.php doesn’t bring up the home page.

    Dear kblundy!

I have checked out the quickstart from the download. it working well without any problems. The quickstart is as a fully done site, it does not use the old data if you use same a database , In the final step of installion, it allow put your password in there.
    Now pls try a gain.

Note: if you use a same database with other, you should use replace the default database prefix : “jos_” => other text.

The quick install is not the problem teh sample database overwrites the administrator password that is set by me during installation.
    The aministrator is set to:
    hienduchuynh@gmail.com
    with the password:3bb86ab5b41d7d4c037d8e18afaad0a1:tb70vRkCJbhJwKSG6c8Rjfh4Vp61VGfi
This template and sample data does not work.

Please try to undersatnd our problems.

    Dear studiofat!

    1) Please access the database of the site via the phpmyadmin site, you Browse the jos_users table and then you see a record having the admin username, you edit this record: you change email by your email.

    2) you access the “Forgot your Password?” page, you ‘ll find the password via this page

    GOod luck
