September 18, 2010 at 6:55 pm #154429I got several Problems now:
IE8 – Kunena: some display errors (sometimes like rodeo…)
IE8 + Kunena = error in IE on the bottom left…
FF + IE8 = some embedded codes in article dont work anymore also in kunena (but i dont find out why)
personally i think more ppl use kunena as agora, so the “normal” template should run with it..
hope their is out a fix soon, i updatet a livesite today…
all pictures from IE8 – FF is normal with these errors…
ERROR1.jpg happens when the “line which was written in kunena is too? long” – but only sometimes. error appears only in IE8. FF works fine.

September 18, 2010 at 7:27 pm #355916and this (see picture) happens if using “standart” Jomsocial template with Jasocial-template for joomla..
same error in IE8 + FF
maybe this error is because the width (see other topic) limit on 980.
i need for full view on screen 1024 min.PS: hope the errors help you a little.

Perhaps, you have forgotten to choose the ja social template for this component, now you go to the Components => JoomSocial => Configuration => Layout => Choose “ja_social” => for the “Select Template ” parameter

September 28, 2010 at 12:05 pm #356943Hi,
no i dont have forgot to install the “ja_social-template” for jomsocial.
I just use ONLY! the “joomla” “ja_social template” NOT the one for jomsocial.
So, the error appears on the “standart” Jomsocial Template with the “joomla” Ja_Social Template.
Hope you understand what i mean 🙂
thanks

oh i found that bug, may be the css is conflicting. so that when you change to use the default template, you have to fix this issue.
Please let know the link to your site, i would like to see bug with kunena forum, i will try to give you solution to get this resolved
Thanks

October 3, 2010 at 5:35 pm #357560here the forum link : http://bit.ly/du4PJj
but should the template not always work correctly with the jomsocial standart template? for me the agora+jomsocial template are a bonus of the maintemplate. – but maintemplate should work correctly with the component for which it makes “bonus” templates. I think easyiliy: “errors in standart-template” > “dont touch the others”.
maybe i think to much german-correctness in here 😀thanks again for helping
