Hi. Installed the template and listed 6 item (latest news) on the front page.
But I wish to display all of the 6 items in full length, i don’t want the navigation bar at bottom of the screen.
I want them to display like the ‘Virtual Tour’ item (or seen on the demo page, or the attached picture).
How do I change this? the way items are displayed on the front page.
This is quite important!
Thanks!

June 30, 2007 at 11:52 pm #223024I got stuck on this too,
I figured out where the settings were in the end but i found this before i figured it out and it would have helped if the question had been answered so he’s how you do it.
You need to go the mainmenu settings under the menu tab.
then edit the home link, their you will find all the Parameters that effect how the frontpage is set out.
Also another not very well documented peace of information is that if you want a static page or any other item of content to be the homepage of your site instead of the frontpage component, all you have to do is create a menu item that points to it in the mainmenu, and then make it the first link on the list.
Enjoy…

that’s basic Joomla stuff that’s why it prolly isn’t documented in the Ja docs anywhere, we expect ppl to know this, there are so many Joomla guides available guess it’s just overlooked that some don’t know anything or can be bothered tread up before taking the plunge into Joomla, however it will be addressed soon when support changes
