I’m using JA Droid and the K2 component. I’m setting up the the home page to display a listing of K2 items in the blog format. And since this is the home page, I am setting up a lot of modules to display. My problem is–whenever a user clicks on an item from the blog, ALL the modules are still present. I have set all the modules to only display on the “Home” menu. I don’t know if this is a Joomla or K2 question, but maybe someone here knows a way around this. I only want to have a select few modules visible on the rest of the site, but I want all of them visible on the home page. When a user clicks the link in the blog to read the entire article, I just don’t want every single module being displayed. I hope this makes sense! Thanks!

You may wish to try out this extension::

    http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-a-security/modules-management/3391

Also, This relates to mainly joomla question as the specific module will also be displayed for other sections of parent menu item as they are mainly displayed in accordance with parent menu item id. Probably, You can check if you could set a separate menu item for item – blog and then, have the specific module not assigned to it
