You mean, the Hot Topics, Main menu, Popular, Media, etc. are not showing?
If that is the problem you are talking about, there is a reason for that.
When you click a module in the Modules manager, there is a section where it will ask you where you want this module to show up in the various Sections, Categories, Magazine sections, etc.
For example, let us take the “Latest” module:
If you select :“ALL”, then the “Latest” module will show up in all Sections, Categories, Magazine sections, etc.
Now, let us take another.
Hot Topics
Let us say for Hot Topis, you did not select “ALL” but specified what Sections, Categories, Magazine sections, etc.
Now, if you create a new section and categories in this section — since they are new, they were not part of those you previously selected Sections, Categories, Magazine sections, etc. So, in the second example, the module Hot Topics will not show up in newly created Sections, Categories, Magazine sections, etc.
The Hot Topics module will show up in the news components of your page, if you include the new components.
I hope the two examples are clear.
Now you may conclude, it is easier for me to just select “ALL”. and no more problem..
Seems logical.
However, there are layout situations where selecting “ALL” is not a good idea.
One of them is the page for a Forum. If you selected “ALL”, even for just one component, like the Latest Module, then, one third of your width page will not be available for the forum.
If you want any component of your site to occupy the whole page, then you must not select “ALL” for any module. Therefore the best strategy is not to worry about this while you are creating your site. Once you have all components in place, (no more likely new Sections, Categories, Magazine components, etc. — then you can do the above selection where a module should or should not appear.

July 12, 2008 at 3:59 pm #259425I am glad to be of help.
However, I looked briefly at your site again/ This time, you are messing up your Magazine menu.
There is a sequence of doing this. You have to start with the Section manager or Category manager.to create Sections and Categories.
If you are using Joomla 1.5x-Teline II, there i sa bug in the Magazine menu, that does not include a very importat information, making it difficult to change the Sections and Categories names in the Magazine menu, if you are not familiar yet with how Joomlart magaxine menu works.
