I notice that on this template that I have to disable the Main Menu module to prevent repeating the menu created along the TOP with the same menu as a column down the LEFT.

Is this right or am I missing something obvious?

If so, it would be really handy if when I create sub-menu items in mainmenu that instead of creating an extra row of links across the top as Split Menu does it would create a vertical menu down the left hand side (obviously only displaying the sub items relative to the top level tab along the top) Eeek – does that make sense? :p

I understand what you talking about but each template has it own style. If it’s not your taste you are free to make any changes you want.

Hi easykey,

You need to place the $subnav somewhere else, and you also have to make some CSS styling for it. If you don’t want to do it yourself, a freenlancer could do it in a jiffy with a small price.
