Is it possible to display the Tabs in the main body section of my page instead of a module position? If so, how would i do this?

Yes you can use ja tabs in content. Use ja tabs Plugin.

Publish your ja tab plugin and type

This works nicely however the drop cap formatting needs to be removed from the content as it interferes, how is the done on a page by page basis?
