I am trying to get my front-page display and my blog-layout page to display consistently.

    Home page – http://ciotalkshow.com/
(notice the category is displayed below the intro text graphic)

    Topics page – http://ciotalkshow.com/topics
(notice the category is displayed above the intro text graphic)

Personally I don’t care if the category is above or below, only that the position is consistent.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,
    James

    hi,
you have already modified your component html to render like this right? If you knew which layout file to edit then it would be easy,

Though its tough for me to figure out the cause as I dont know which component you are using. Please provide your ftp account, I wil help you.

Thanks I ended up just sitting the homepage to Articles-Section-Blog type and now everything matches. Not sure why JA has that difference for the Frontpage type. Btw, I did not apply any other components. I just had one page set to Articles-Frontpage type and the other to Articles-Section-Blog type.

Oh but that’s no good… you need to be able to simply assign articles to the Front Page in the back end, without changing the section or category they’re assigned to! To use the section blog layout for your homepage means you’d have to assign everything you want on your homepage to that section — which would cause major problems for me.

So if I too want my Front Page Blog Layout to look like my Section Blog Layout (specifically the way the text wraps or doesn’t wrap around pictures, for example), what do I need to look to change the CSS for each layout — front page blog vs. section blog?
