If you wanna use the module in content area you can use this code:
{mosloadposition gallery}
Then go to Site>Template Manager>Module Positions and create a new module position called “gallery” and set the gallery module to show on the gallery module. Then in the content item on frontpage you just type in {mosloadposition gallery} and there the module position is loaded in the content item.
