prbalge, thanks for your patience, I think I’d better keep it simple because my php knowledge is just not up to scratch yet and I wasn’t aware that the two slideshow’s could potentially cause crashes. Thanks again

I tried uploading a backup index.php but it didn’t work so I re-uploaded the quickstart to a different part of the site and used that index.php

Scotty I think I know what happened, I commented out the logo element in the CSS because I wanted to make it part of the slideshow. I removed the code in index.php and it’s working now.

Sorry I didn’t realise it would make a difference but it’s obvious in hindsight. Thank you (and prbalge) for taking the time to help though it’s much appreciated.
