April 28, 2012 at 9:17 am #176564Does anyone know if this has been corrected for teline iv yet? The issue has always been that you can not have cache’s on + have mobile version enabled, otherwise if someone visits mobile then computer breaks for anyone who visits computer (and vice versa).
Numerous threads about this, even going back to 2009 with same issue: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/cache-and-iphone-template/
thanks

Thank you I sent you a pm… its not just my site, its a known problem with all joomlart/t3 users if they have cache on and use mobile version too. There has been so many threads about this in past, I cant believe there hasnt been a fix for it.
Device tested on does not matter, its all/any mobile.Outline of problem with cache on and mobile versions enabled:
-Someone visits on computer > then anyone visiting site on a mobile will see a broken site because its using the cached CSS.
-After you clear cache, if someone visits on mobile > then anyone who visits on a computer will see a broken site because its using the mobile css cached.thanks

May 3, 2012 at 2:23 am #451155Hi there,
Try this about the cache on JA Teline IV template:
Go to Admin site -> Extensions->Template Manager-> Edit JA Teline IV template-> Global tab
<blockquote>Enable Development Mode: yes
Cache Mode: Disabled
Optimize CSS: Join & Minify
Optimize JS: Join & Minify</blockquote>JA Teline IV Template is using extensions (mod_janews_fp, mod_janewspro, mod_janewsticker), you can disable cache on these module (advanced settings).
About broken layout on your site, please PM me login info for your site. I shall check and help you fix it.
