I tried some time ago to get Hikashop Business working with Vintas to no avail.
Hikashop has released a later version with better installers etc so that version may prove more compliant. What really frustrated me as a new user to Hikashop was the lack of any sample information to install (like VM) so you can see a populated front and backend.Speaking to Hikashop support they supplied me with a copy of the demo site but I guess it just wasn’t the same as proper lets install the sample data. I found that VM only templates from VirtuePlanet were better suited to my VM specific needs
If you succeed in getting Hikashop to work for you please post the link to finished work I’d love to see your work. 🙂
Blessings Shannon

March 20, 2013 at 9:05 am #487172Hi djiben33,
In deed, We still don’t announce officially about the compatibility between Hikashop & JA Vintas (JA template in general). But first, pls make sure that Hikashop component works well with default joomla template, then Hikashop will be ok with our JA Vintas template. Because all JA templates will be compatible with the 3rd party extensions support default joomla template.
Regards,

LeoJune 11, 2013 at 12:27 am #495420I have hikashop working with ja_tiris but I cannot get the speaking urls to work. I get a fatal error message. Unfortunately I didnt test this before we went live: http://www.proball.com.au
The error I am getting is: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class JViewLegacy in /home3/proball9/public_html/plugins/system/jat3/jat3/core/joomla/view.php on line 716
Anyone have any ideas?
I have turned off speaking urls for the moment…
