October 6, 2016 at 6:06 pm #974206As I’m developing my JA Resume-based site, I’d like to add microdata to the site. Specifically, I’d like to add microdata to enable things like links to various sections of the site in Google search results, as well as an image that appears in the search results, like this example:
I know that this is done by microdata with ‘itemprop’ markup such as the following:
<img itemprop="image" src="/path/to/image.jpg" alt="alternative text"/>
Does JA Resume support the addition of microdata or ‘rich snippets’? If so, where do I add it so that it appears in search results.
Anyone interested can find more info on microdata here: http://schema.org/docs/gs.html

October 6, 2016 at 7:31 pm #974225Thanks for the link to the post, Pavit.
While it’s very useful additional info, I’m still not 100% certain which files I need to update in order to specify (for example) an image that will appear in the search results.
The first image in that blog post shows what I want to achieve, but the blog post isn’t clear as to which specific file to update to get that end result. For example, is it:
\templates\ja_resume\html\com_content\article\default.php
? Some other file?Sorry for the questions – I’m still a Joomla novice and there are so many files under the templates folder that can be modified, I’m sure I’ll mess something up. Also, do I need to create some sort of override?

October 6, 2016 at 7:38 pm #974227Please read the T3 Framework of the blog post – you do not need to edit nothing , check if the template has an override and look at the default.php structure of the com_content overrided
Hope was clear
