Try to check the permission on the Modules folder must be 755

also enable your ftp layer if you have not yet enabled from Site–>Global configuration–>Server Tab

I never had to use the ftp setting in the administrator. Indeed, other modules work perfectly. Using an FTP client, why should I set the ftp layer in admin section for these modules?

I also asked the door to work. Being on us erver particular, do not use ports to connect via FTP client. Quini not know even that leads to, because if I use the standard 21 by mistake.

i find out that, you must give write permission modules/mod_janewspro/profiles/nex.ini and/or other .ini files.

with chmod 664 save function not working, but with chmod 666 it starts to save settings.

try mod_janewspro config permissions too… and maybe you need to connect JA support team:

Sorry but ALL folder, subfolder and all files of this module and the other modules are 777 settimg, but not work. Strange!! Other module work fine!
