Hi,
I want to start with the JA Cloris template, but I was wondering if it will work good for SEO in Google.
Because it is one page, it might be a problem that Google don’t understand that ‘domain.com/services’ is a specific page about the services of the company.Regards,
DFo

January 30, 2011 at 4:50 pm #374473Hello,
Well, we will need this confirmed by someone from JoomlArt, but it doesn’t look good. The First page is made of 8-9 modules which each represent “new page” in the menu, but they are all on first page. Modules do not have any SEO parameters that we can set, so I am afraid that this won’t be picked up by search engines. Yesterday I submitted my site to Google and it just picked up one page from Blog post, but I will wait couple more days to confirm that Google doesn’t see the Home page!
I hope that I am wrong or that there is a way around this.
Otherwise great looking template but really tricky to set up.Hope this helps a bit… but we still need more info.

Thank you for your explanation.
I think that this template looks nice, but isn’t that good if you want Google to pick up your site/news.
Fortunately Joomlart has more templates. If you find out something else, it would be nice to know/share.
Regards,
Dion

Ja cloris not only support 1-page design but you can create subpages and have them seo urls like any other ja templates.
If you are afraid there are some links in your page can not be crawled by google, you can submit your site map which contains that links to guide google engine.
hope that helps.

February 4, 2011 at 12:19 pm #375106Well, I also did find a bit more…
Google picked up my site nicely. Home page, all Blog posts and all images with their Tittle and meta tags are visible.
The only thing that’s not is modules on the first page (page 1,2,3…) like I thought so… maybe this could be indexed too.
