I met same problem, for me this issue won’t work (Template Rasite).
In :
templates/ja_rasite/css/mod_jaslideshow2.css
i put transparent in background value and it’s work 😉

Hello, you can see my site (in dev.) at this address : workshop.letroit.com

Like i said later it’s working with “transparent” value for background.
But now description on roll-over don’t work… 🙁

I saw the transparent working well :D, the description did not work because you set the value for the “Description background opacity” parameter equal 0, pls try to check again and set the value 0.8 for this
