I’ve been working on this bilingual site for a while, and up until last night I didn’t realize that it isn’t working properly on IE8.

It shows the left and navigation bar, but not the content and right side.

I tried de-activating all modules which only made the front page articles available but blown to 100% width.

Is this a compatability issue, is a script running improperly or is there a file missing?

Hello,

I am not running IE 8 here, but can you tell me if the content on the right, is getting pushed below the left column? Or is it not showing at all?

I think, it must be shifting its position somewhere.

In actuality, I believe it I’ve gotten word that it isn’t appearing correctly on any IE browser.

Sorry, I realize it doesn’t show in the screen shot above, but the right modules don’t get pushed under the left; it just doesn’t appear at all.

It’s because inside the Parent Leadership module you have a massivee if statement which looks like it is text that has been copied and pasted from microsoft word.

You need to remove the text in that area and replace it with plain non-formated text, e.g. not copied from word, but copied from word -> notepad -> joomla.

Look around the block text:

PLI Provides courses that train Latino parents to become advocates for their children’s academic success.

Understandably, it’s ironic that IE can’t display something generated by Microsoft… 🙂
