    Hey there,

I am looking at purchasing a membership, I do like what you guys do here. Just a quick question.

How do you stop people form just stealing all your templates? what measures do you put in place?

The reason i ask this is because I am looking at developing a content site, but how do you stop users actually just downloading your content and not paying for the licene? I would image that it would be a fairly large problem in this type of industry wouldnt it?

    thanks,

    Matt

Well our membership system has records of each individual domain licensed, and it has the ability to crawl the web and report any unlicensed domains.

There are a lot more ways we check if a domain is using a licensed copy or not.

Ohh ok, I thought it would be something like that. That is what I would like to do as well. Can u do anything to stop them using those templates? Being able to know if they are using the content more than once is a good thing. Also being able to stop them from using the content as well would be a good thing. Can u guys do that as well?

You’ll be surprised what we can do, that’s all I can say. We’ve caught a lot of people out, and we catch more every day.

    another quick question.

WHat happens to a site if the person is not a member anymore? even if they do abide by the rules of your licencing T&C’s. If they do not renew their membership what do ou guys do?

Absolutely nothing, you don’t have to continue to be a member to continue using the templates. As long as you licensed the domain, it’s permanent.

Sounds good, I know im being pedantic asking all these questions, but id rather have everything sorted out before I go ahead.

What would happen if you do not renew your membership, but would like to change the domain on which the template is on?>

    What happens then?

    Cheers,

    Matt

Then you can always send a mail to our support/sales-team, with a request for a domain-change and we will do it for you.

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

This is built into the membership system. After your subscription expires we cannot change any domains for you, unless under specific reasoning.

So what you are saying is that, after your membership expires, you are kind of stuck with the domains that you have?

    Is that right?
