Ok, if i buy Ja Template Club, 1 year standard membership, then i get 2 domain licenses. Is it OK if i use it for WordPress for 2 domains, not for Joomla? I can convert joomla templates to wordpress themes. and i want to use WordPress, not Joomla this time.

April 20, 2009 at 1:54 pm #301972You SHOULD be able to because you are using the JoomlArt themes technically, regardless of where you use it. You still need to be able to verify the domain though (and for that you need to have FTP access).
However, wait for an official reply (which should be soon).

Hi magznetwork,
Thank you very much for your question. This is a very new & interesting question. The answer is clearly YES
However, please note:
– If you are developing for your client you will need a Developer Account
– You will not be able to distribute your WordPress conversion and the template usage will be limited to your registered domain from the member area. Please let us know if you have any other questions

Wow, totally i like your answer. By the way, if I use 1 year standard membership and want to upgrade for Developer license, what is the cost? And is there any active coupon code for developer membership today?

I think it was about $350 to upgrade from Standard to Developer. With that, you can develop for your clients and download and use as many templates as you want, while being able to remove the copyright information at the bottom of the template (which you cannot do as a standard member unless you purchase the copyright removal kit).At the moment, there is no coupon you can use I’m afraid – but join as a standard member if you wish and upgrade if you need to! Or you can just extend your standard membership for another year early and get three more domains to license (but again, let’s wait for someone official to confirm this!)

Thank hanifahmed for the clarification! It’s true that we have no coupon available at the moment.
