How do I set up JA Voice so users don’t have to login to post feedback. I’d like to have it so a guest can just post feedback without a login. Currently if you make a feedback post it shows a bar on the top of the screen that asks you to login.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

If you would like guest to post his feedback. You need to reconfigure the permission for forums as follow
    – Goto administrator/index.php?option=com_javoice&view=forums
    – Select a forum you let guest post and set “POST PERMISSION: guest”

Please try and get back to us for further assistance.

    Hi,

I tested this out and it seems to allow guests to post but my assigned template changes after you submit an idea as a guest. I have a different template assigned to the JA Voice menu item and after I make a post as a guest for testing purposes it defaults back to the original template. This is going to make people think they are on a different site and is confusing. It also posts some messages in the body and on the top of the screen. Here are the two messages:

No item Please login to view more

    and

Voted! or Sign up So that we can let you know when your voice is heard (status change).

Basically I want the system to allow guest posting without having to login and for it to stay on the same template throughout the entire JA Voice component with the template I have assigned to the menu item.
