Hello,

My website is working very, very, very slow.. Suport cannot help me … Anyway. The last thing i wish to do before erase the template from joomlart, and never come back is installing the 1.5 version of joomla with the Teline IV template. So. I have the database imported in joomla 1.6. How can i take articles from the database of joomla 1.6 and pot it in joomla 1.5? I cannot do it manually, cause is a database with 26.000 articles, wrote in 4 years. I want only the articles and pictures to import. The categories, and anything else i will do it manually.

Can someone help me?

As far i know there is no way to downgrade from 1.6 back to 1.5. Because lots of change.
About rollback content you “can” do by make your own script to do. It need a time.
Beside that i’m suggestion you upgrade to 1.7 better than keep using 1.6.

we checked your site with yslow & page speed ( great speed checking program ) and we found that your site has lots of loading issues, NOT related to the template.
For example, your image is 29k, vs 13k (losless optimized NOT resized ) . your background is 106.68 KB (109,240 bytes) which could easily reduced to 50k ( even more with size reduction and slight css manipulation )
again this is with no loss in quality. RIOT is a wonderful free tool that will help you with all this very easily as it does entire folders @ a time if you ask it too.
Yslow and page speed BOTH showed serious trouble

including a very worrisome security alert. I firmly believe that if you will optimize your images and correct as many of the things indicated by page speed and yslow you will find your site running a LOT faster.

Furthermore your site is hosted on “hostgator” which has a VERY strict throttling and usage policy. I’d be willing to bet that if you contacted them you’d find you’ve been throttled for excessive usage. Doing my recommendations MIGHT alleviate that, but a better host would certainly help
