I installed the template and it looks different than what is in the demo. Looking at the source, I see that the demo has ja-container inside of ja-containerwrap, but not in the template I installed.
I am trying to achieve the highlighted behavior on my site.

Please help.

Hi

To have an exact copy of the Demo site you need to install the quickstart package version of the template
otherwise if you want to change your template as was showed in the demo site you need to set all your modules as showed in this guide

Hi jrausch,

If you want your site looks like our demo, you should install Quickstart package as @pavit mentioned.
And remember to choose right package for Joomla version you are using.

I sent a PM, but no reply yet…Also I strongly believe that you demo has ja-container inside of ja-containerwrap and the template does not have that. How do i get to all my postings and PMs? I don’t see them anywhere on the site.

Can you give me a link to the demo you are looking at? I think you may be looking at the old J1.5 demo which has a different layout to the J2.5 version.

You will not see it like that. As I said above the layout has changed between J1.5 and J2.5 so you no longer have that container. The version in the demo is for J1.5 and you seem to be using Joomla 2.5. Hope that clears up any confusion.

Which element exactly are you struggling with and what would you like to achieve? Do you have a link to the j2.5 demo so I can see what you mean?

I am trying to get that gray (highlighted) in the image to differentiate between the two boxes. Your demo site has ja-container inside ja-containerwrap and they have background images of main-bg1 and main-bg2 gifs. I think because of the two background images it looks the way it does on the demo site.

On the actual template I downloaded, there is only ja-container and no ja-containerwrap. I hope this helps in making my point clear.

Both those links you provide are for J1.5 (check the source) and the bar at the top shows that. We currently do not seem to have a J2.5 version of the demo available. I will get that looked into as it is not giving the correct demo.

As for your little problem I am not 100% sure what you are trying to acchieve. I will look at your page and see what I can come up with.
