Really loving the templates but still having problems integrating Dravity and Virtuemart.
I really would like this to work…..I keep getting a 500 error when loading virtuemart component on front end. Back end works fine….
I know its the template because when I switch to default joomla template….virtuemart works without a problem…..PLEASE HELP ME ADDRESS THIS PROBLEMMenalto FriendMenalto

Hi Menalto
Why do you want screenshots of the problem when you can actually duplicate or demonstrate the problem by simply following the link provided above. Surely seeing it in action is much better than a screen shot.

September 6, 2008 at 12:33 pm #269070Coz the site did not load at all for me, but i saw it now.
In most cases when get a internal server error there is a file permission issue, which i think you should check. that would be in components/com_virtuemart folder, php files should not be 777September 6, 2008 at 3:22 pm #269111Hi guys….Thanks for the suggestions but I don’t think chmod is the problem.
We are quite thrilled with this website but its not the server its the template….
If I use JA_purity which I have as a backup template on the site it works fine.
So virtuemart is o.k.! I don’t think there is a problem with server. If I can’t get this fixed I’m gonna have to use another similar template and assign it to my store.
I’m not the only one experiencing this problem.September 6, 2008 at 11:18 pm #269152I have been messing with larix and have found a couple issues.
Which I think might be contributing to virtuemart and dravity
When I disabled the moo menu tool and changed it to css stopped getting th 500 error.
That still doesn’t solve the shopping cart problem but I’ll bet this a start to fixing the problemCurrently my fix for this is to use the larix template and redesign to look like dravity.

September 7, 2008 at 6:22 am #269176You’ve got the ja_larixtemplate from what I can see now, I don’t see a problem when I click shop. do you have the ja_dravity template on a separate URL to look at the error?
B.T.W. Site looks great, good mix of modules and text. In the shop though I find the contrast of grey on white hard to read, why don’t you go for the darkest hue of grey you can for the text or even black?
