Hi Jooservices,
I have the same problem and I understand <param name=”wmode” value=”transparent” /> will solve the problem on IE8. But where to add the code if I am using mod_wrapper which I I provide the url to the mod_wrapper only……. Please advise. Thanks.

That was exactly my issue, I’ve tried several ways but didn’t get it to work 🙁
I don’t think it’s possible with URL wrapper.
