September 4, 2011 at 7:04 am #168153Hi All,
I’m using Teline IV with J! 1.6.6 and I have two questions:
1) I have a menu item with five submenu items using the mega menu style. Instead of listing all of those in one column when I rollover the parent item, it separates them into three columns of no more than 2. How can I make all the submenu links line up in one column?
2) Is there anyway to extend the blog layout options? Right now, I can choose to do a number of leading items as well as the rest of the page formatted into a certain number of columns. Is there a way to setup the blog layout link so that it can show different numbers of columns for each row? For example, I would have 1 leading article (full width), 1 row with 2 columns, and another row with 3 columns. Is this possible?
Thanks!
Micah

September 5, 2011 at 6:56 am #410690Hi Micah,
Please edit the parent menu item>JA Extended Menu Tab and find parameter Columns. Set it to 1, save the menu and check if that solves the issue.
September 20, 2011 at 2:42 am #413774Hi, I’m having kind of the same problem. Just look at the image, please. How can I align all the menu items in one column? I want the Latest News and Featured to show in diferent columns, ( it would be 3 columns then)
Thank you.

September 20, 2011 at 4:39 am #413794Hello razzroy,
Have you checked if the number of columns are set correctly from the menu as explained in my previous post? If the issue is occurring inspite of correct settings, can you please send me your site admin details via PM? I will take a look at it.

September 21, 2011 at 4:26 am #414057Hi,
I have fixed the menu for IURD. I have created a submenu under IURD of type Text Separator. All the menu items other that the ones displaying some modules are moved under this new menu. Now the menu is getting displayed in the 3 columns, as you wanted.
To achieve this kind of menu structure and display, please refer to http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/userguide-ja-teline-iv-for-joomla-2-5/ > Mega menu config

September 21, 2011 at 12:41 pm #414121Thank you so much 🙂 I’ll take a look at the link to fix the others.
Thanks againSeptember 21, 2011 at 4:40 pm #414149Hi. I’m really sorry, but when configuring the other menus like you did, I see like this now. Where did I go wrong?? Sorry to bother you again. Instead of showing like the others, it has a vlack background.
Thank you

I’ve created it all over again and it worked 🙂AuthorPostsViewing 8 posts - 1 through 8 (of 8 total)This topic contains 8 replies, has 3 voices, and was last updated by rozzroy 13 years, 2 months ago.
