July 3, 2011 at 6:40 am #165902I’d like to be able to have a menu at the very top of my site much like I see here on Joomlart to house my login/register and other miscellaneous items?
I want the dropdown to be able to incorporate modules for a login form, etc. Can you please enlighten me how to do it. None of my efforts have succeeded.
Thanks.

July 5, 2011 at 10:09 am #399933Hi
You can use the JA top panel module, like it is used in JA Social http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#templates.joomlart.com/ja_social. Download the module compatible with your joomla version, from JA site, install it and publish it at a position in your template. You can use the module settings to show whatever modules / text you want.. For more details on module settings refer to JA Top Panel Module settings in http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/userguide-ja-social-template-for-joomla-1-5/

July 5, 2011 at 3:04 pm #399979I prefer to use the JA Login module as seen in JA Social, Business and Community templates where the menu items “Login” and “Create an Account” are shown and when you click them the form drops down. I installed it and loaded it in my top-panel position, but instead both forms appear in the top panel. I have attached a screenshot. I would like it to appear to the right also.
Also, if I do use the Top Panel module, how/where would I change the color from blue to black?

July 6, 2011 at 5:37 am #400049Hi
Please go through the following threads for JA Login setup as well as JA Top Panel setup.
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-login-dropdown-box-function-not-working/
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/loginregistration-buttons-similar-to-community-plus/I am not sure if the JA Login module is meant to work inside the JA top Panel module. You will have to check it after you apply the related css as explained in the first thread..

July 6, 2011 at 6:18 am #400051OK. I will try and figure it out. I wish there was a stand-alone that I can just plugin and set to the position.
