Hi,

We have two menus titled "Claims we deal with". One is a category blog layout and one is a menu item alias. However both menus have the same alias of "claims-we-deal-with". Please see the link below for example…

Firstly, I thought it wasn’t possible to have two menus with the same alias?

Secondly, how can we remove/hide the second alias (as we don’t want it duplicated). I’ve seen people use a date/time in the alias field (e.g. "2016-12-01-07-30-00") However this didn’t work for us, as it actually displayed the date in the URL, which is obviously not what we want…

We want the URL above to appear…

Please advise how to resolve.

Hi,

Thought that you can’t have same alias for 2 menu items, I suggest you to post a same thread into Joomla Forum, guru there will have further suggestion.

Or you can try with a 3rd party extension for URL management in Joomla Extension Directory.
