I came across a very informative article on Dynamic URLs vs. static URLs at the official Google Webmaster central Blog. Find out Google’s answers to the questions below.

Should I try to make my dynamic URLs look static?
Which can Googlebot read better, static or dynamic URLs?
Myth: “Dynamic URLs cannot be crawled.”
Myth: “Dynamic URLs are okay if you use fewer than three parameters.”
Does that mean I should avoid rewriting dynamic URLs at all?

Google still uses your URL text for keywords though and I think they just look better, both on site and in search results, from a visitors point of view.
