December 13, 2016 at 12:37 pm #994291Hi there, I have setup the notifications, messages and friend requests and login for easy social fine on the top menu of the JA Intranet template fine however the Easy Social search module is not really behaving well here.
Basically I followed the documentation here: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-intranet which says to setup the search module but of course if using Easy Social then one needs to use the Easy Social search module and not the joomla search module and I did that on my site as you can see.
However the advanced settings is not really styled nicely or even if I disable it altogether it does not go away as you can see from this video here: http://recordit.co/yujvN2YrCt
Also when I log in as a user the search help text goes from white which seems normal to a dark grey which is hard to read but only when the user is logged in as you can see in this video example here: http://recordit.co/y0UOlj6uqn
Thanks in advance.

December 14, 2016 at 4:39 am #994483Hi,
JA Intranet template only supports Joomla search by default that’s why you got this problem on your site with EasySocial Search but you can use this way to fix the problem on your site
Open templates/ja_intranet/css/custom.css file and add new rule
#es .o-input-group__btn { display: none !important; }
Hope it helps
Regards

December 14, 2016 at 9:51 am #994555Hi there, to be honest I find it surprising that the top navigation of an Easy Social Template support the Notifications area, Sign In area, Messages area and then also the friend request area and the search, probably the most important feature is actually Joomla! Not sure the sense that makes frankly. Surely the new version of JA Intranet should support the Easy Social search area here or its just very confusing for the end user.
Having said that, thank you for the css fix and yes that helped here alot.
