It transpires that the EasyBlog ja_intranet theme was not installed in components/com_easyblog/themes The auto uploader has an misleading error and unusable. I manually uploaded to components/com_easyblog/themes, chose ja_intranet in EasyBlog preferences. The colours are now working 🙂
