    Hi,

I was wondering whether I can display also EasyBlog posts in a 1-1 or 2-2 grid format on JA Fixel’s homepage?

Or do I need to save them also as an article?

    Thanks!

    Hi uformia,

By default, the JA Fixel just supports the grid item layout for Joomla article contents only, not EasyBlog. But, lets me talk to our template developer as a new feature consideration. I can’t confirm that our devs will accept it right now, however should any news about your request, we will make sure you are the first who knows.

Hey guys, this would be a huge thing, the reason I signed up with Joomlart for the template was the integration of easyblog, but it appears it’s not really integrated, it’s only got a template for the blog. Getting the integration of easyblog articles , tags etc through out the system would be a major step.
I’m sure if you pole your users then it would be a big plus

    Hi jswatt3,

Thank you for your interest on our template. Last October, we have already released a template named JA Magz that we integrate the EasyBlog component and the customized layout of its popular modules like EasyBlog most popular post, EasyBlog latest comment, EasyBlog tag cloud … You can refer more information and download at http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-magz .

Beside that, JA Beranis is a good choice of a business template for your project that we also integrate the EasyBlog component and its exciting features into.

    Hey,

I have worked around not being able to load additional component content by creating redirects from an article in the grid layout for JA Fixel by using http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-management/url-redirection/12651 to redirect to my menu item after creating an article. I simply create an intro image and title for the article that I would like to be loaded in the grid and configure the plugin text to go to whatever content in another component that I want.

This is obviously not a great workaround for sites with a lot of content, which mine will one day be, but it will be a slow-grow so it will be manageable for my purpose. Hope it helps.
