May 9, 2014 at 3:54 am #534283Hi there,
From your backend I don’t see on your system any traces of EasyBlog component or its accompanying modules and plug-ins installation whatsoever.
Did you really install it prior to update to J! 3.3.0?
Regards
Alex
May 9, 2014 at 4:30 am #534289hi alex, thanks for this
i used the JA DECOR quickstart installer and am sure it was all there previous to 3.3 upgrade – i hadn’t customised it yet
also while I’ve got you, the JA Decor instructions for editing (13.) Our team box style – i edit the Custom HTML module but this page continues to read:

Please download and install our JA Decor Quick Start package afresh and you will see if EasyBlog comes out of the box or not.

I’ve just checked your “Our team box style” Custom HTML module and found it without the latin placeholder text you referred to. I am more than positive you saw the old latin text after replacing it with your own due to uncleared cache.
Please clear your browser cache or change to a different browser and check this module once again. I am sure you will find this module good to go for you.
Hope this helps.

Alex
May 9, 2014 at 1:42 pm #534366hi thanks for your reply…. it has been over a week since i changed the “our team box style” text so i’m sure it’s nothing to do with a cache, this is the page http://digitaltao.com/2014/about

May 9, 2014 at 4:59 pm #534388Hi there,
Apology, – I was wrong regarding the container of the latin text. To find and edit it please go to Components -> Contacts -> Categories. On page 2 you should find “Our team”. Click on it and there you have it.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Alex

May 9, 2014 at 10:43 pm #534407Sorry Alex I didn’t see this part of your reply before….

</blockquote>Are you suggesting I install the quickstart on top or alongside my current installation? I don’t have any experience installing templates onto existing sites/databases and so am concerned about overwriting all my customisation and content.
Also, thanks for pointing me to the TEAM contact source…. what a weird place to hide that 😉
thank you

May 10, 2014 at 4:45 am #534421Hi there,
Glad to be of help. 🙂
To see what our JA Decor Quick Start pack consists of, I suggest you install it alongside your current installation, that is in its own separate sub-folder.
Regards,
Alex
May 11, 2014 at 1:04 am #534463I can’t find it in the quickstart package but I’m sure it was there previously. As a JA rep can you please confirm if and where Easyblog is in the package, or a way forward asap
this is my search of “easyblog” in that extracted dir

May 11, 2014 at 6:31 am #534470Hi there,
Yes, I can confirm that our JA Decor Quick Start packages ship without EasyBlog component.
The files and folders from your screenshot do contain the word “easyblog” and do reside in the JA Decor Quick Start installation archive for J!3. According to my search there are 21 such files:
However, the installed JA Decor Quick Start pack for J!3 with installed EasyBlog contains 2,866 files including word “easyblog”:
If you would like to proceed forward with your JA Decor Quick Start installation on J!3 and enjoy running EasyBlog on it, please purchase EasyBlog at stackideas.com and follow the “EasyBlog Configuration” section of our JA Decor documentation.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Alex
