Hi, a similar topic was closed – so I open this new topic:

the EDIT ARTICLE BUTTON is not shown on frontend.

I tried the solution (adding the code in ja_playstore/html/com_content/article/default.php) – but with no effect. Nothing changed.

      <?php echo JLayoutHelper::render('joomla.content.icons', array('item' => $this->item, 'params' => $params)); ?>
      <?php endif; ?>

Only deleting the default.php makes the edit-article button shown again! (Screenshot)

Deleting the whole file seems not to be the best solution. Please help!
