I would like to edit the Contact us page, however I cannot find article or module that contains the layout.

It is default contact component being shown on specific page.

You can go to components >> contacts to make changes

Perfect!, just what I was looking for.

BTW: It looks like the placement for a couple of the inputs do not work. For example:

1. The postal code is not formatted with the correct css
2. The Web/URL does not align with other information (shifted to the right by several pixels)

1) Change this::

.jcontact-state, .jcontact-country {template.css (line 152)
color: #547D29;
}

to

.jcontact-postcode,.jcontact-state, .jcontact-country {template.css (line 152)
color: #547D29;
}

2) Try add this at end of template.css file::

.jcontact-web .jicons-icons{display:none;}
