First of all, I am talking about the contacts list, not the contact us form.

I have looked on the joomla forum and i have looked at extensions and done google searches, but i cannot find out where or how i can edit the contact fields. i don’t want fax, or mobile phone as fields, I want something else…
Any ideas?

ok, found out this cannot be done without some ‘hacking’ so forget that… perhaps a special extension will help me eventually.

yes, just hack some feild in this component, you’ll get what you need…

No….really don’t know where to go. I looked around and it wasn’t as obvious as thought so i figured i should accept my loss in this area. I thought i had found the perfect extension, but it really just added custom fields to the contact us form, not the contacts list…if you follow…
