I have already gone in and edited the css – changing to a red with blue padding… right now the footer reads :

How do I remove: ” the designed by joomlaart.com ” …. there isnothing in the index.php file explaining how to do this—or i am just missing this…

Are you using 1.5 or 1.0.xx?
If on 1.5 you have a folder called mod_footer inside the html folder of the template, open up the file called default.php inside the mod_footer folder and change it there.

Hi noeld.
In Joomla 1.5, you must change in default.php (templatesja_edenitehtmlmod_footer folder)

In Joomla 1.0, you must change in footer.php(templatesja_edenite folder)
