I am not sure whether this is an editor, template or joomla issue.

I am attempting to remove the <p></p> from the first paragraph of my article however then I make the changes in editor mode, they do not save and the syntax remains.

If I make the changes in “html” mode and apply, then the changes work.

However if I view the article again in the text editor mode, then the changes do not appear. But the changes do show in the front-end. If i was to apply or save, then the changes would revert back to the original state.

    Confusing??

Then disable the editor in the Site-> Global Configuration Menu.

Default WYSIWYG Editor = Editore – No Editor

Select the above option in the dropdown and save it.

Then go to Articles pages and do your own html without html editor

Yeh I thought of that but I need to use the JCE editor to specify editor parameters on the front-end for a registered member’s group.
