Two issues, I know, but I’d like to think one might be causing the other.

    1) When I install ja_pollux via zip file, I can CONFIRM that editor.css is in the css folder in the zip file, but when it installs, it’s gone. Then my error_log spews every page that editor.css isn’t found. I can’t get my head around that.

    2) The menu is blank. From what I can find, I’m supposed to choose ‘menu’ as a position, but that doesn’t come up as an option in the module editing. I have user1-10, and all sorts of things, but no menu position. I have the template options set up to be the trans menu, which I want, and everything else is fine, but there is just an empty space where a nice pretty menu should be.

    Please help.

upon more source-searching, it seems that ja-mainnav is not populating with any ul or li elements. I have my template set to menu module – “transmenu” (menu assignment reads “cannot assign default template”, but searches show that doesn’t matter)

error logs show an error in the menu creator in ‘Base.class.php’ then again in ‘Transmenu.class.php’. Invalid argument supplied for foreach.

It seems either I’ve set up the data wrong, or the function can’t read the menu items. Any help?

    solved the menu issue.

in every forum thread I’ve looked, in all the documentation for the joomlart templates, not once did I find that all I had to do was specify the name of the menu be ‘mainmenu’ and that would be it. I was using the top_menu type from before, and this was all that was holding me back. Hopefully anyone else having this issue will find this and learn without the days of hunting I went through.

Please, joomlart, let’s have some simple tutorials for joomla 1.5 or a quickdoc or readme or anything.
