I would love to see a template aimed at education/educational institutions. This would include high school, college, university type templates. Love the templates that have already been produced.
keep up the good workJune 24, 2007 at 7:27 am #222645Yes, some kind of students portal, with soma extra features aimed for this)

There is already a free educational template available at a different template maker if your need is urgent

One of the members of edugeek made one, but I much more interested in joomlart’s design – especially something with blue and red design for a high school.

Yeah they’re basic but what can you expect from the qld government for teachers?
Given the literacy rate of the kids these days I guess anything for teachers has to be simple or they’ll have a hard time figuring it out let alone teaching it to others, I think school should be 6 days a week 10 hrs a day for students and teachers hee hee and 1 weeks holiday per year thenthey may learn something
😀

July 6, 2007 at 6:07 am #223629Hi I am responsible for the edgugeek schools package. The template is indeed a modified version of the free template offered by the site mentioned above.
I am always looking for feedback on how to improve the package and themes included. What kind of design are you thinking off?

Sorry about this. Could you give me a link on forum rules especially on what I can or cannot post.?
Instantinlaw mentioned a template maker in this post http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/suggestion-for-joomlart-owners/
but was not given a notice or warning.
I have modified my earlier post and removed the template makers. You’ll have to edit your post to reflect my previous post.Michael Casha FriendMichael Casha

We are using moodle as our course management system. I am much more interested in the marketing aspect of the website which should be appealing to prospectve students not only on the content (admission process, tuition, history, etc) but also on the design. I believe Joomlart can deliver this. -
