    Hi,

When I try to post an article to facebook from my JA Magz II template, what gets posted has a lot of garbage in it that no sane person would want representing their website. See the attached picture.

Here is what it gives: "Super User Details Activism 3 days ago When They Come For Our Vote When They Come For Our Vote Reading Mode aA aA Share This When They Come For Our Vote Page 2 All Pages Page 1 of 2By Hank Edson / People supporting Hillary Clinton often compare the “Bernie or Bust” movement to Ralph Nader’s third p…" (see third picture)

But what I want is only "By Hank Edson / People supporting Hillary Clinton often compare the “Bernie or Bust” movement to Ralph Nader’s third p…"

How do I remove this stuff? No one wants the title repeated or the "Reading Mode aA" stuff in their post, much less the "super user" and category information.

On a side note: in trying to troubleshoot this, I went to the documentation, and followed its instructions concerning adding the "addThis" code in the before box. I used the quick start package and so this code was already in the template and worked well enough to at least display the share icons and allow for sharing (albeit with a lot of garbage in the post), but when I copied and pasted the code I got from the "addThis" site, the share icons disappeared! I could only get them back by repasting the code that came in the quickstart package.

No, if you look at what is written in the box, it is not fine at all. I can’t type in this box and quote from the image you attach at the same time, but for example you will see it includes "Details" and the typography "Reading mode aA aA Share" text from the social sharing module and it includes the title like three times. This does not belong in the post. No one wants to see that on facebook. It is unintentional debris that makes the site look absolutely unprofessional.

This is not something a client would EVER be satisfied with.

    Hello again,

Well the good folks at OSTraining.com helped me find a solution, which I will share here.

You can define a custom title and description for your article when sharing to facebook using a free or pro versino of OSMeta from Alledia.com

It took me less than 2 minutes to install. I found it in the components menu and added the title and description and they immediately worked.

    Best,

    Hank
