How to eliminate a white frame?
(I eliminated it with a custom.css file on the home page though not on the other pages)

I am facing the same problem and noticed there are 2 white box instead. see attachment.
this is what appeared when no j article is use and all module for home-1 has been disabled.

somehow, i could not upload picture to forum.

The white frame is not on the homepage but on the pages on the menu items
like this

It is the same thing

you should configure correctly the grid to show articles

That’s an empty space leaved by your settings for the page.
For example on this page http://carmuseum.co.il/index.php/technology the grid has 4 columns 1 row and you have 3 articles showed so
you need to change settings for the page to avoid the first empty space to be showed
