Hello
This is a big problem for us and we are looking for a solution.
Please have a look at http://ubuntu.se/portal. If you scroll it down you will se a movie that we dont want to have there. It should appear only after the user clicks at the article and reads more.
This is the code that we used to embed the video:
<div><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0" width="400" height="250"><param name="width" value="400" /><param name="height" value="250" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="src" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=2551709&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400" height="250" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" src="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=2551709&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1"></embed></object></div><br /><a href="http://vimeo.com/2551709">Simple CompizConfig Settings Manager</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/svendus">Svend Nielsen</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>
The above code works with Firefox 3 but not with Opera or Internet Exploer 7 and 8
How do we get rid of the movie from the first page in the portal and make it working with all browsers?
Regards
Michael
