    Dear,

Yes, i modified HeR0 profile on front end then go back to backend to check and the result is fine. The profile is updated.

There is a misunderstanding in this case. Now, i will show to you what i did edit profile step by step as follows:

    – Before clicking on save and there are some data of my profile : http://prntscr.com/1l4vn0 ( front end ) , http://prntscr.com/1l4vtw ( backend )

    – I delete “OK” and click on save btn on front end then my profile is updated on front end http://prntscr.com/1l4w2f . Going back to backend, go to my profile details http://prntscr.com/1l4w8e and could see that it works without any issues.

Pls check again and let me know the issue still persists.

    Regards

    Hi HeR0,

Definitely, there is a misunderstanding in this case… and to be sure to understand each other, I record a short step by step video that demonstrate the issue on my side, also validated by other members of my team.

    Here is the link:
    http://www.screenr.com/P9mH

As you will see, I registered as a new employer frontend, approved th new employer backend, login frontend with new employer username/pw, go on employer profile modification, change business name and save modification frontend.

It seems to save the modification frontend (without having the confirmation saving message at the top of the site)… but noting is being saved after checking in backend or after going back on employer profile on frontend.

The reverse process works… modification done backend on employer profile are saved… the video also demonstrate that…

    Hope it will help,

    Thanks in advance,

    JP

One last thing, if you find the final solution related to my last post, could you please give me all the files involved in the fixed issue.

That way, I will be able to finally launch the Jobboard in the live site.

    Thanks in advance,

    JP

    Dear JP,

Yes, I think that we are confusing. I have been debug and update on your dev site and may be you are testing on live site, i guess that. I just update my custom to the your live site. Addition, i checked the function update employer profile on your dev site ( it is working well ) before update to live site.
Kindly check and confirm to me that issue.

    Hi HeR0,

All the test showed in the screencast come from the dev site (http://3ejoueur.com/_dev/vs)?

We did again few tests today and we still have the saving issue (modification from frontend are not saved…)

I don’t know what’s happen between your tests and our tests but definetly, we don’t get the same result…

What can we do now… we need to get this fixed…

    Regards,

    JP

    Hi

My name is David, Jean-Philippe will be in vacation for the next two weeks that is why we were in a rush!, he will be available to launch this on the live site soon

I have done the tests and it seems to work now! Thank you very much, I will be able to show to the client that it it works now

Jean-Philippe will probably need your modifications, so when he comes back he can put this live. Can you explain the modification on a post so we are all set the day he comes back?

    Thank you for your help

    David
