I have both a quickstart (http://www.rcpwilson.ca/biz) and just the template installed but I can’t figure out why there is an empty box on the first page on the http://www.rcpwilson.ca/test1. How do I get rid of it or fill it with something.

I think you have set the Featured Articled to be displayed in the home page and so please make some article featured. this might fix the empty .

so made an article featured but it did n’t get rid of the empty box. I also edited the article to hide the option of written by and published and category and it is still displaying those options.
