After installing JA comment with all of the plugins, it seems we have to manually enable JA Comment in each post using the JA Comment ON button. How do we enable comments on all posts by default, so that we can disable the comments only on the pages we don’t want them on?

Hello ericribellarsi,

For this feature, you can set “Auto” for “Control Plugin Mode” in “Plugin manager Content – JA Comment” plugin.

EDIT: I was able to get that plugin to word by using the PHP file you posted in this thread:

However, my Latest Comments module is not updating. It says there are not comments. I have re-installed 2.5.1 of the module but it still does this.

Thank Stork, that seems to have helped me find the problem. When I open the page in question, the option does not appear, and instead there is this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home/kasamapr/public_html/k2/plugins/content/jacomment/elements/jacategory.php on line 42

Any ideas?

Just FYI: we’ve moved the module now to the right side bar, second from the top.

I fixed in “/modules/mod_jaclatest_comments/helper.php” file, then problem was resolved. Please check and confirm the same.
