May 10, 2012 at 12:13 am #176896I want to place introductory text on certain pages that are displaying components (and therefore cannot use loadposition, as it is not an article). I’ve been following the instructions from here:
http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_T3_Framework_2/Guides#Enabling_mass_positionsI added the line:
<block name=”content-mass-top”>content-mass-top</block>
to templates/ja_mydesigntweaks-erio/etc/layouts/default.xmlIn Joomla’s Module Manager I typed ‘content-mass-top’ into the position option, but the module does not appear on the page. If I choose a position such as “user3” it does show up, so I don’t think it’s an issue with the module.
Perhaps I’m missing a step? I also tried following http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Template_Framework/FAQs but layouts/default.php doesn’t seem to exist. I think this tutorial is geared towards older versions of Joomla and JA’s framework.
Thanks!

May 10, 2012 at 4:16 am #452322Hi
I have done a new custom-html module and published it in the content-mass-top position as you can see here seems that the content-mass-top position is working fine .

May 10, 2012 at 5:08 am #452333I figured it out! It’s because I’m using a menu alias, so I had my module linked with the wrong menu item.
Sorry if I wasted your time!
