Hi,
Does anyone know how to enable RPX authentication support in the JB Login? The Job Board menu module says ‘Integrate Jarpxnow plug-in’, which I have set, but presumably I have to download and install this plug-in.
It doesn’t appear to be included in the Job Board download. Several searches on the site and forum haven’t helped!
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Many thanks,
Gavin.beastmode54 JA JobBoardbeastmode54

January 18, 2010 at 4:37 pm #329641Hi beastmode54,
Basically, RPX integration would allow users to log in to Joomla site using external username/password. For example, you could use your Facebook account or Google account, or OpenID. See here for more info:
The demo Jobboard site seems to have it working:
http://demo.jobboard.joomlart.com/
You can see the logos for Google, Facebook etc beneath the login form. If you click on them you will see the pop up box appear.
Just not sure how to get it working on my installation!
Cheers,

January 18, 2010 at 5:43 pm #329644Dear gavinallday,
PM me the login details of your site. Let me have a look. Are you sure the plugin is not installed by default on your system, when you installed JA Job Board? Please check the plugin manager for once.

January 18, 2010 at 6:53 pm #329649Dear gavinallday,
Ok. Give it a shot now. Check the JA rpxnow plugin in the plugin manager and enter your key and application for which i presume you will have to register on the rpxnow site.
I am not sure why the plugin is not in the package. I took it from the svn and installed it for you.
Please update us if things go well and even if they remain the same.
regards
Arvind
