    Hello, Expert.

I created a JA Edenite site (J2.5x) just yesterday from a fresh Quickstart install with sample data. I am attempting to have all components, features, modules, articles, etc. visible only upon registered user login (with the exception of Home button and login module, which are public).

Well, I seemed to have missed a step somewhere, as the site does exactly the opposite of what I want: The entire site is visible to the public, but gets locked down upon login!

It seems that somewhere along the way I have made a critical error that can probably be fixed with a simple tweak. If you know that tweak, please respond.

    Thanks!

Hello if you want to put default access level to registered users only .
You need to change default access level .
Go to admin panel >>system>>Global configurations>>Default access level >>> Registered .
    see this >>> http://prntscr.com/4t06qh

Thanks for your reply. And that makes total sense!

Except, I do have the default access level set to registered, and the problem persists.

Although, now, the entire site is visible, whether logged in or not.

Hello if you want to block the site homepage for public user and other menus you need to edit the access level of menu .
    For example for Home .
    Go to menu >>Home >> Access>>Registered

Global configuration access level option work only for new content and menus , it will not change the access level of already created menu items .

Panka, thank you. However, my Home button access is set to Registered as you describe. The problem persists.
