April 23, 2007 at 4:17 pm #119859Hello,
Whenever use a new Template I do a test in my PC.
I have obtained the test with 6 Templates without problems but with Ja Teline I obtain the following failure:<blockquote> Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal aable error or misconfiguration and was to completes your request. Please contact the administrator server, pinopunzi@gmail.com and inform them of the Time the error occurred, and anything you might have donates that may have caused the error. About dwells information this available error may be in the server error log. Apache/2.2.3 (Win32) PHP/5.1.6 Server AT localhost Port 8080</blockquote>
The procedure is always the same for all Templates. I do not understand because it must fail this time and all the others without problems.

April 24, 2007 at 5:01 am #218772Hi
I was installing the quick install file. Problem solven in the meantime. Was able to install by removing .htaccess file.<em>@Khanh Le 13592 wrote:</em><blockquote>I guess that mod rewrite is not enabled in your apache server. There’re 2 solutions for your problem:
1. Enable mod rewrite for apache.
OR
2. Rename or remove file .htaccess inside JA Teline quickstart package. The .htaccess is used to enable SEF. Therefore, if you remove that file, you need goto your administrator and disable SEF.</blockquote>

Hi Miccas,
The installation in the Hosting with FTP works perfectly: http://www.webgpc.com
The failure takes place directly taking the installation in my Localhost PC (Appserv, Mysql, Apache)
I do exactly just like I have done with the Hosting.Michael Casha FriendMichael Casha

Ok, but have you enabled the mod rewrite on your localhost machine, you need to edit the apache file.carlucci Friendcarlucci

From the first day that Joomlart-Templates receipt always has worked perfectly.
In fact it continues working with other Template. It does not work only with Ja Teline.
I not that I must do with the Apache: I have never modified it nor to become it.
I installed it a year ago and it works to me with all.Michael Casha FriendMichael Casha

April 24, 2007 at 11:12 am #218813If you used the new install package, then that’s why. You have the .htaccess file there but you haven’t enabled mod rewrite on your localhost machine.

April 25, 2007 at 4:50 am #218882Open your httpd.conf file then “uncomment” the mod rewrite line of code.
You’ll find:
# LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewriteRemove the # and save the file. Restart Apache and it should work.
