I intend to create navigation menus on top but I have this message, so I looked in the basket of the menu I have no element that has the same alias.

Registration failed with the following error: Another menu item has the same alias in the root. The root is the parent of the highest level.

Hi,
I am setting up a magazine site from your template JA_TELINEV. I already installed on my hosting and recovered demo articles. I am starting to build the site on this template.

My problem:
how to arrange the menus, blogs, categories on the template?
For I do not want to keep all the elements found in the demo, so I’ve taken this step.
For example I want to keep seeing pictures of the categories that interest me.
Is there documentation that shows the location and the positions of the modules on the template?
Please try your answers to the illustrated to an understanding and to avoid the question again.

Actually it’s simple issue and already explained. But let me try to split it into smaller part.
For future, please split different into different topics.

404
category not found
Please try one of the following pages: Home

It’s because your Home menu item pointed to an category / article. But somehow you have deleted it. Than of course it’ll be 404.
To fix it just check this menu item and repoint it to another category / article or another view.
In last time i have helped you to pointed home menu to feature view. (option=com_content&view=featured).
It’s mean we have solved this issue at this time.

Now we have another issue ( for next time please split it into another topic )

Actually error message already explained. We have duplicate menu item alias. ( some menu item deleted but still in trash bin ).
To fix it just make sure there is no duplicate alias by use another alias or delete exist one.

For rest of configuration please use quickstart as reference document site.
